Saga 18: Get back the Reverse-Blade Sword

Kenshin is the strongest man in Japan with a sword, but can he defend himself without it? It is none other than Hiruma Gohei who tricks Yahiko into stealing the reverse-blade sword, and then ambushes Kenshin with a pair of deadly hired killers!

On a holiday in the countryside, Kenshin and his companions come across a massive European mansion owned by the wealthy Tsukayama family. There, the young master Yutarou learns swordsmanship from his surrogate father, Raijuuta Isurugi. This teacher turns out to be an undefeated manslayer from the revolution, whose special techniques can cut opponents in half without touching them. Yutarou trusts his new father-figure completely, but Raijuuta plans to use the Tsukayama fortune to fund a new revolution. Now Kenshin and Yahiko must not only stop a war, they must also protect Yutarou from being caught in the crossfire.

The meiji era brought many Western wonders to Japan, but nothing was as big as the first steam powered train. However, when Kenshin, Sanosuke, and the others go for their first train ride, they get involved in another great Western tradition, Japan's first Western-style train robbery!
