snb69 10:12 a End of Eva Problems
Finally, the End of Evangelion has been released by Manga, but it seems that there are some major issues with the disc. Within two hours of its release, fans started posting on the Anime on DVD message boards about the issues they were having. The issues seem to range from: choppy video to the DVD locking up while in play to not playing at all. You can read the entire messae board thread here. I have yet to recieve my copy, but I hope that I do not have issues with the disc. All I have to say though is that, I hate Manga Entertainment. The have recently had a string of bad/shoddy releases, and the seemingly wide spread issues that are popping up with this release are quite unforgivable. Manga has had the title for a long time, and pushed back the release date many times. What do we have to show for it? A disc that half the people cannot watch. I really didn't think that Manga could get any worse, but they have gone and proven me wrong. If they do not recognize this problem, and deal with it in a decent fashion, they will definately lose an enormous amount of fans.
