Happy New Year's everyone!!! Hopefully the REAL millenium bug
won't affect us... Well, I finally picked up the Princess Mononoke
DVD and the Escaflowne vol. 2 DVD, and I would like to say that
they are both wonderful! If you haven't seen Princess Mononoke,
then what the heck are you waiting for, an ingraved invitation?
The DVD that I purchased still seems to have a flaw on the bottom,
but it hasn't seemed to have any effect on the video itself. For
those that have NOT been following Escasflowne (to hell with Fox's
cancelation of the series, they don't know what they are missing)
I highly recommend that you watch this series. In a final note,
DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE, because the law will twist whatever you tell them.

Here is a little info I found on the Anime on DVD's forum. If you are
planning on buying the Princess Mononoke DVD, like myself then this is for you.
Got my disc this morning from buy.com. You can see on the back where it's already starting to delaminate. While I know a few can get through QC, my best friend got his yesterday from Amazon and it has the same problem.
Check the silver side under a light. If you see any irregular hazy patches or a milky surface, send it back for replacement or refund. It may play at first, but the problem gets worse over time. Mine won't even play right on my Sony S530.
I was really looking forward to this disc. I hope it's not a rampant problem.

Today is the last sceduled day to watch Gundam Wing. If you haven't
seen it by now, shame on you. How many times do you expect Cartoon
Network to rerun it??? I am hoping to purchase a Sony DVD player after
this christmas, but we'll see how that goes. It would be nice to see
my anime on a larger screen, though my monitor is that small (19" 18" viewable).
School is almost over, just two more exams and I can call it quits
for the semester.

In an after thought, for all of you that didn't get to see
Endless Waltz, or only saw parts of it... Guess what? It is
being replayed by Cartoon Network on December 22 @ 5:00.
Woohoo!!! Now I can actually get to finish watching it. I was
awaiting this from CN, it was inevitable. I mean how many times
will they run Gundam Wing? I wish that Bandai would hurry, I don't
know if I can wait until after the first of the year for the
original series.

It seems that Christmas time is practically upon us. Oh the joy, food, presents, family,
presents, no school, presents, did I mention presents. Well you kiddies make
sure you tell your parents to get you loads of anime. Who needs that stupid
underwear anyways, those holy things you have will do you until next year. By
the way, if there is anyone listening during this wonderful wintry season (if
there is snow on the ground) I might not be here. So things could get even
slower, I don't know if that is possible, but hey you never know. Maybe the
content will start breeding on the server and form new content of new
anime...
