I have finally updated. There is some various gundam related
material now, and some intro's to some other anime. I have also
changed some of the way things load, the site should load faster on your
computer now. As I work my way through my new web book I should hopefully
tune the site a little better for you. Zoooooooooooooooooooooooooom.

After scouring the net for awhile, I came upon a link at
Gundam.com. Bandai has a new Mobile Suit Gundam game coming out for
the Playstation2. It seems to take place during the One Year War. The screen
shots show a wonderful looking game, hopefully it will play well too. to
see the screen shots goto
Gundam Perfect Web. The only bad thing is that the site is only in Japanese.

That is a definate buy for me. I love that movie, and have probably
seen it at least six times.

Just a quick update today for those that might think that I am
just slacking around. I am working on some content related
stuff and hope to get it up tomorrow, but who knows. I had some
hardware complications over the weekend, by the way of my DVD drive
going haywire. So I had to contact Dell which was a wonderful
process, but now I have a new drive and everyone is happy. :)

Things have been pretty slow content wise on this end. I
haven't really had much time to get going on anything. Hopefully,
things will change and I will get off my butt. I still have a
ton of reviews to write and the. I did finally get the cgi
script for the random content working. Hence the random quotes
you see above the posts. If you have a quote that you would
like to see there
email me.

Thankfully I was able to purchase the Samurai X / Rurouni
Kenshin OVA on Thursday, and I am very glad that I have
finally gotten to see it. It is something else, I highly
recommend that those that have yet to get it, do. The only
complaint that is have is that on the English track the sound
loses its strength a couple of times, but this was not evident
in the Japanese track.
On a side note, for those of you in Ohio, like me. There is a
anime convention that will take place January 2618 2001 in
Cleveland. It is called the Ohayo con, and you can the access
the web page for it here.
I know that it is still a ways a way until the convention will take
place, but at least now you will have time to get your registrations
in so you can attend the three day event. Who knows you might even
see me, but who would want to do that anyways...

It seems Cartoon Network wishes the US to wait even longer
to see the sequal to Gundam Wing, Endless Waltz. I recieved
the www.GundamOfficial.com newsletter yesterday saying:
Cartoon Network has changed Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz TV airdate to
NOVEMBER 10, 2000. This will be the edited sequel to the Gundam Wing TV
series.
This I think is rediculous. Canadian fans got to see Endless Waltz
before they saw the series (if you don't count the couple of pilot
episodes that were shown last spring). There is no reason for this
delay. The dubbing of the OVA has been done for some time. CN is
only stalling so that they can finish out this airing of Gundam Wing.
I like Gundam Wing a lot, but I am sorry, I can't watch it four times
in a row. They are only hurting themselves by showing the series for
the fourth time in a row. This is the same crap that they pull with
DragonBall Z, and fans get tired of it. That is why CN will not be the
anime powerhouse it could be. Wow, I kinda went of on a little rant there.
Well, in the words of a sports announcer, "That's my opinion, I could be wrong."

Unfortunatly I didn't get a chance to do any work this
weekend, because of work. And with Mid-terms this week
this could be a slow week content wise. If I get a chance
I will work on the Rurôuni Kenshin section since I
picked up the second DVD on Saturday. I am really looking
forward to getting the Rurôuni Kenshin OVA that comes
out tomorrow. Reviews that I have seen are really good,
plus some of the flash backs in the second DVD I purchased
really make me want to see the true Hitokiri Battousai in action.
I am also hoping to buy the Escaflowne Vol. 1 DVD, but I
have yet to see it in the local Suncoast shop. Maybe once
my ever debt inducing credit card is paid off, I'll
start ordering things off the net. I don't know what would
be worst though, the long ride home waiting to watch the DVD
or the not knowing exactly how long it will take my DVD to
get here though the mail. Obviously, I have a varying
confidence in the US Postal Service.

Finally, I have the Release Dates
page up. It is a huge table of the new and upcoming anime.
The info for this table was aquired from the new Animerica magazine.
So if you don't get Animerica check it out.

I was hoping to finally get my hands on the last tape of
Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket yesterday, but
I was denied. I took a trip to the local Suncoast to buy
it, but it was the only tape of all the American released
Gundam material they didn't have. To say the least I was
a little irritated, but what can you do. So until that
time when I can get my hands on that tape I probably won't
finish the intro's for War in the Pocket. I am also
hoping to get the Vision of Escaflowne DVD, once it
hits the stores. It was released yesterday, but not on the
shelves till at least today. I am also planning on purchasing
the Rurouni Kenshin \ Samurai X OVA DVD when it is
released. I am really looking forward to sitting down and
watching that.
On an unrelated side note, for those of you patiently waiting
for the release date of the Playstation 2, you will most likely
have to wait longer. There was an article in the USA Today
a couple of days ago, about the PS2. Some of the main points
were that, Sony has ran out of parts to finsh building the rest
of the PS2's needed for launch. Why or how this happened is beyond
me. Granted they have to build a million plus PS2's but they should
have been better prepared for this situation. So this is going to
lead to about half the promised amount of PS2's, which means only
500,000 will be shipped for launch day. This also means that most
retailers will only get around 25 systems per store. Another problem
Sony is having is with their memery cards. It seems that they used some
bad parts and had to recall half of the memory cards that they had
previously shipped to US retailers. So these will most likely be in
sort demand also. So, what is a kid to do about this situation?
Make sure that your system is paid off at least two weeks in advance,
and be at the retailer that you reserved at as early as possible so ensure
your system. Or, you can wait a couple of weeks to get yours.
Sony has promissed to ship 100,000 units every week until the
problem has been resolved, but who knows if they will hold up to this.

Sorry, it has seemed like I was ignoring you, but I was having
trouble with my Tripod account all weekend, and it finally seems
to be resolved. I have added a couple of the episode intro's
for 0080 and 0083 too.
