The Earth has been in a rejuvination period. Most of the people of Earth have relocated to the colonies, and the Federation has moved its headquaters to the moon. The year is UC 0153, and the Zanscare Empire wishes to take control of the Earth and make it a place for their "true believers". The Federation has lost its power over the years, which means that the civilians must do something. The League Militaire is formed to stop the Zanscare Empire. Usso Ebbing the youngest Gundam pilot ever, must use the V Gundam to help the League Militaire to defeat this new found threat.
